DESIGN, MANUFACTURING & RETAILING
We started trading in 1994 making us the oldest and most succesful mail-order business selling fully-fashioned stockings and similar products from the UK. We employ staff both directly and indirectly whose livelihoods depend on our continued trade. Touchable designs lingerie in-house and our capability in manufacture helps us and other businesses to offer unique garments.
We now operate only through our website and via telephone or email. All orders receive an automated response to tell you we have your order in-hand. All inquiries are dealt with as quickly as possible.
We, as individuals buy from mail-order companies and know how we wish to be dealt with. That simple logic formed the basis of Touchable's customer ethic and has ensured we stay at number one. We hope you enjoy Touchable and all our products and features just as our loyal customers have done over the years, we're sure they'd tell you you're in good company.
Touchable is a mail order business wholly owned by J Franklin-Pryce. Products are offered soley by mail-order and no personal callers will be dealt with at the office or factory addresses.

WHY ARE CONTACT DETAILS IMPORTANT?
You, the customer, should know who you are dealing with and that we are a reputable company. Many sites are happy to take your money whilst providing minimal information about themselves and only an email address for recourse. We are happy to disclose who we are and where we are and to fully list our conditions of trading.
WHAT USE ARE TERMS AND CONDITIONS?

DO WE TRADE OUR DATABASE?
No. We specifically requested that our registration with Data Protection exclude any agreement to trade in the personal information of our customers. We want our customers to be happy buying from us, safe in the knowledge that it won't lead to a flurry of annoying and irrelevant literature from obscure companies.
WHY DO WE CHARGE FOR SHIPPING?
From time to time we may offer free shipping promotions - when we do you can be happy that it is just that. Our 'free postage' charges aren't concealed into the price of our products - they come directly from our profits. Many companies offer 'free' shipping while inflating the price of the product - not us. We keep our prices reasonable and charge for postage. Simples.
WHAT ARE OUR INTENTIONS?
Like all commercial businesses we need to make money for a number of reasons. We have staff who must be paid but also we have a strong desire to grow. The larger we grow the longer we can hold off price increases by reducing profit margins. Our intention is to offer quality products as part of a unique collection for the enjoyment and satisfaction of our customers. We hope that our transparency in all aspects of our business give you as much confidence is our company as we have in our products.
